Why doesn’t anybody care about the English language? (Presentation)
Most widely-spoken languages have academies to regulate language, including grammar, spelling, and usage. France has the Académie Française, Spain has the Real Academia Española, and Poland has the Rada Języka Polskiego.
So why don’t we have our own special Institute or Academy just for English?
In this FREE presentation and podcast I try to discover the reason.
Join me as I discuss the great divide between spelling and sounds in English and ask the question why there isn’t a dedicated Royal Academy of English to take care of our precious language.
